My big girl requested waffle when I asked her to take her nap. I promised that she will see waffles after waking up. And so there we go.
I prefer making waffle bites for her as she could nibble it at one go rather than biting it and leaving at every corner of her play area. 🙄😪
My waffles are not the kind of very crispy and yummilicious kind – prefer to make it more nutritious ones in order to make sure good intake by my girl who prefers bites than a heavy meal.
Of late – After some nap times, we do struggle to make her take a good dinner (less issue during lunch).
Anyway, making waffle batter is just like pancake somehow, just not on the stove. 😝
Ok, after talking some nonsense, the ingredients used:
1 egg white + 1 tbsp molasses sugar (hand mixer to become meringue)
Blend – egg yolk , chops of small apple (your choice of kind of Apple), 60ml fresh milk, 1 tbsp grape seed oil
Flour mixture- 50g cake flour, 20g cornflour, pinch of baking powder
Add flour mixture into blended ingredients. Then add in meringue. Batter done!
I would want to try the non separated egg yolk and egg white again soon. 😂 I stalked Vanessa Lau’s recipe just now! Hehe
