When big sister was at school, we went down to pick some rocks/stones!
We even washed it in the little pond by the garden (of course mama did a thorough wash after that)!
In the evening, big sister gets to spray paint on the rocks!!!

So true.
Those were the days when ‘sharing’ was difficult with Noelle. With our simple giveaways of under utilized stuff (started end last year) and constant compliments of her being ‘generous’ to people for her sharings, sharing comes easier with her! (Now gotta deal with Nikki’s non sharing🤦🏻♀️ but I guess she will learn ‘faster’ with Noelle as her example)
Besides that, in these few weeks/ months, I taught her about winning and losing. Though losing is still not easy, I see much improvement! For example, yesterday she lost some games with papa in Molly Fantasy, she says ‘congratulations!’ to papa! That’s what I told her to say to her opponent when she loses – instead of crying – cos we are in for fun and not ‘winning and losing’!
Finally completed my holiday read (title: parenting preschoolers) – the book that followed us ‘over-the-sea’! Despite the simplicity or design of the book, many great points that I wish to flip through again! This particular page (in pic) in its first chapter – got me going! So agree with the points!
I wish I could have read it before sending Noelle to school – as it did talk about transition to sending to preschool – what to expect! It just nailed it down for me! Probably before Nikki’s time, I need to re-read! 😝
Over and over again, it stresses preschoolers (below 7 yo) – shouldn’t be overly exposed academically – because of their mental abilities! It also touches on parenting different personalities, helping kids to socialize, what to talk about and etc! Most importantly, it syncs with my thinking/style! 😝🤣
**forgotten where I got the book
It was a great time painting with them too!
– starting her now so that she will be able to handle the coins and ringgit herself (and not get cheated money🙄) when she goes to primary school
Suitable for kids 6-12 years old
It is designed like a maze for the kids to climb upwards to reach the top slide. It is sort of challenging for Noelle especially since she is ‘not that tall’! 🙄🤣 But she managed to reach the top slide with the help of another girl! I told her that – it was a great ‘teamwork’ (not sure how else I could describe the situation since she was the only one receiving help!🤔)
The park has a smaller and lower level slide for the younger ones!
Ingredients used: fresh threadfin (ikan senangin or mah yau yue), cheddar cheese and steamed mashed potato
Mix and shape
Drizzle with extra virgin coconut oil and air fried under 180 degree celcius for 8-12 min!

Ingredients:
Fresh prawn (chopped), red cabbage (chopped), zucchini (chopped), egg, pepper, liquid amino
Wrapped with bean curd skin.
And pan fried with oil
Done!
Life goals is not just about holidays/ going off days! As a stay at home mum, I need to set many mini life goals in order to keep me motivated! (I am not totally done with my ‘giveaways’ actually)
Here’s the current goal – which is shared with this 28m23d – going diaperless! We ‘shared’ it because we promised her that she will get the robocar poli set that she didn’t get for not behaving well in HK!
Noelle is her example and cheer leader (cos Nikki says she will share the toy with Jeh Jeh if she gets it! 🤣).
Nikki jumps straight to the toilet bowl instead of starting on the potty – because she ‘wants to BE like Jeh Jeh’! In fact, she told me that she wants to poo in the toilet bowl instead of the potty. See how it goes! No set timeline but go with the flow (though Noelle did ask need wait how long – cos she aims to play with Nikki’s new toy😒)
Good luck to both (or three) of us!
– Yesterday we started late evening (because I was too busy in the day) – and she aced it twice! This morning aced it once and we went to send Noelle to school diaperless (hubby did remind me that Nikki was diaperless – he asked me if I wanted to risk it especially since I will be dropping by at the wet market for fruits)! Well, I was ‘confident’ and no incident happened! 😝
I just could say – we are in the right direction. 🤣
