I am now buying frozen beef striploin from Village Grocer! They are good beef and more economical! And I definitely using the Phillips pressure cooker when it comes to beef.
Beef was cubed and marinated with meat curry powder, cornflour, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and pepper overnight.
Under bake vegetables mode, bake – lemon grass, garlic, tomatoes, bottle gourd, curry leaves and carrot.
Then add in the marinated beef and one bowl of water to cover ingredients! Pressure cook under ‘stew’ mode that runs 20 minutes. I kept it to warm till evening (that was more than 9 hours)!
