Oats waffle

My first waffle – oats waffle

Oats because I don’t have milk at home and hubby warned not to use my breastmilk ๐Ÿ˜ and the mini mart was closed when we went down !๐Ÿ˜’

First try, I am quite satisfied with the outcome – quite crispy and light

I read few sites and also Bayers waffle maker manual to get some tips!

Ingredients:
200ml oats milk (to make oat milk just soak oats in hot water, leave it for while and then blend)
2 egg whites + 2 tbsp molasses sugar (make meringue and set aside)
2 egg yolks
100g cake flour
50g corn flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
Pinch of baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tbsp grape seed oil
1 tbsp molasses sugar

Mix egg yolk, sugar, grape seed oil and oat milk. Then add in all the flour and mix. Lastly, add in meringue and mix! Add a little water if too dry. Batter done!
