Not exactly loh mai kai if you see the ingredients. Lol!

This is also my girl’s first try on ‘liquid amino’.

Ingredients:
Cook Calrose rice, just dripped few drops of liquid amino and mix it up
Leftover bak cham kai (cut into smaller piece)
Ingredients stir fried together – olive oil, garlic, dried shrimp, Chinese sausage and shiitake mushrooms (put few drops of liquid amino)

Arrange all in the aluminium foil bowl and steam for 10 minutes

My girl had three of them!

My comfort food for days…. Lol!

Four simple meals

Not feeling too well today, so cooked the easiest of what I had in fridge that suit each individual. Despite the variation, it used the least effort.

1. Ramen soup for girl (leftover radish and mushrooms soup, bak cham kai, ramen, bok choy)

2. Roast chicken rice for hubby (half chicken breast marinated in honey, dark soy sauce and five spiced powder; leftover Leek rice, Japanese cucumber)

3. Fried long beans rice for hubby’s lunch tomorrow (used leftover honey roast pork)

4. Mee hoon kueh for myself (using leftover soup and dough has been prepared in the morning, bok choy)
