So, we are went out yesterday! Food prepared:

Snacks: Yellow melon, cheerios, raisins & heinz teething biscuit

For a 10.30am to 6pm journey, our girl finished nearly all the food that I prepared. She direct latches 3 times during the hours.
We actually went to Setia Mall, which has a kids playland. The playland is relatively small but since it was a weekday, no children except little 17chipmunks was there. Yes, we occupied the whole place for nearly one and half hour. And, it just cost us RM10 (one of the cheapest we went). It charges per time rate. RM4 for first 20 minutes and RM1 for subsequent 10 minutes.
Last Friday, when we went to Klang to visit my parents, we were in Aeon Bukit Tinggi and little 17hipmunks just ran into the Kids Playland before I made a payment. It is RM10 per entry, unlimited playtime. But given that we went there late, we only managed to play around for 40 minutes or less, or else, this would be the cheapest so far. LOL!
My girl, this week, is superb in one way…
1. Besides “more”, she now says “no more”.
2. In the bath tub, if the water is still kind of hot, she will say “hot”!
3. She smacks on my face if I am angry with her (I show her angry face).
4. She suddenly does not enjoy fruit juice as much as she does.
5. She is becoming really ‘tey’, screaming for little things.
6. She decides to brush her own teeth in the morning.
7. She decides to sit on the potty occasionally, but nothing came.
8. When she wakes up, even if papa is there, she snubs him, walk pass him to look for mummy.
9. She enjoys filling her mouth with the pool water and then spitting it out into the pool drain.
10. She starts picking up pen to draw.
Enjoy every smooch she gives me everyday, especially if she wants something!
Snack time! Since I have sweet & sour sauce left from yesterday’s dinner, let’s do pizza bread!
Sauce ingredients & steps
1. Stir fry onions (diced) in olive oil until fragrant.
2. Add in diced carrots. Stir fry for 5 minutes.
3. Add in fresh sweet corns and diced fresh pineapple. Stir fry 1 minute and off fire.
4. In another pot, heat up a bowl of chicken stock. (can use vegetables stock or water)
5. Pour in blended tomatoes (4), puree pumpkin (a quarter pumpkin) and blended fresh apples (2).
6. Stir in the earlier stir fried ingredients.
7. Let it boil for 10 minutes.
8. Add in 2 tbsp oats, one tbsp cheddar cheese and let it boil for another 1 minute.
* amount of ingredients can be adjusted according to your preferences
Pizza dough ingredients:
100g bread flour
30g all purpose flour
1 tsp molasses sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp farm fresh yogurt
1 tsp instant yeast
Mix and knead for 10 minutes. Leave it to proof for at least one hour. Then roll them into smaller balls and then roll flat. Let it proof for another 15 minutes. Put on the sweet sauce. In a preheated oven of 250 degree celcius, bake for 15 minutes. Done!
*I have a dozen of mini pizza bread today!
The soup could help some mummies boost breastmilk! *ting* Breastfeeding mummies might be interested with this recipe. It did help me in the first few days of confinement – my mum thought about it!
1 unripe papaya, sliced
1 green apple, sliced
3 red apples, sliced
1 1/2 chicken carcass
2 slices lean pork
Handful of wolf berries
Handful of red dates
Water as needed
Boiled for 2-3 hours.
*can replace chicken carcass and pork with fish bones
*apples skin is not removed, as there’s where the nutrients are
The soup is sweet without salt/sugar!
Carrot noodle, same as <here> replace spinach with carrot
I no longer need to pinch as I have a basic noodle maker!
Pan fried Atlantic mackerel, squeeze some lemon juice and covered with corn flour, pan fry with olive oil
Hassle free lunch and she finished all in 15 minutes.
For dinner: Same dinner but topped with steam carrot & steam prawns
My hands got itchy again after seeing some pumpkin puree made for dinner’s ingredients. LOL!
80g pumpkin puree
100g pau flour
30g cake flour
1 tsp instant yeast
1/2 tbsp molasses sugar
1 tbsp skimmed milk powder
No water required (for my case)
Mix everything and knead for 10 minutes. Leave it aside for 1 hour. Then shape it to smaller balls (my case I used a bear mold). Set it aside to proof for another 30 minutes. Under high heat, steam for 10 minutes. Off fire and leave it for 2 minutes before removing.
I have 5 not-so-bear-shaped and 1 round paus from these, just nice for the two of us.

I have wanted to make sushi for her since returning from Taipei – since she loves it so much & wanted sushi during her food “strike”. I have most of the things needed, just that I am not sure what kind of vinegar to use until I saw mummy Adel’s post. I finally bought the sushi seasoning ( my friend says an alternative will be apple cider vinegar).
1/2 cup short grain rice, soaked and boiled in rice cooker in 3/4 cup water
After rice cooked, add in one tbsp of sushi seasoning, mix and cool down
Shrimps, removed shelves & marinated with grapes juice, steam for 5 minutes – cool down and cut each shrimp into half
Half gala apple, strip it
Roasted & unsalted dried seaweed sheets (I used 3 sheets, each cut into half)

I wanted to try beet root with apple soup since I saw a mummy made apple beetroot oats (Sorry couldn’t remember who the mummy was).

Blend everything and freeze it. Proportion according to preferences.
Mummies have been asking me where I got the popsicle mold. I got it from Daiso, but the quality is poor. I heard that there are popsicle mold from Munchkin and NUK. I think I need to get a new one soon!
Slightly late lunch today because my 17m26d fell asleep before her usual lunch time. I made macaroni for her instead of her usual pasta as I was lazy to cook a separate pasta when I was having macaroni.
Sweet sauce ingredients: Sun melon, tomatoes, carrot, onion, oats, olive oil, chicken stock, cheddar cheese
Meat: Chicken marinated with grapes & yogurt, onion, olive oil (I pour in the sweet sauce that was cooked separately to stew with the chicken)
